Cold feet can put a serious dampener on a good swim. Our Limestone Neoprene Swimming Socks are designed to help keep feet warm and comfortable, so you can concentrate on enjoying the water.

Premium limestone neoprene uses a closed-cell structure to help trap heat without adding unnecessary bulk, while its natural flexibility makes the socks comfortable to move in. The robust material is also designed to resist UV and ozone exposure, helping them last season after season.

Finished in our festive Holly print, they’re made for Christmas morning dips and plenty of winter swimming fun.

Are swimming socks worth it?

For a lot of swimmers, yes. They're not compulsory, but if they make your feet warmer, your entry more comfortable and getting in and out less stressful, you're more likely to actually enjoy the swim. And that's the whole point.

What's the difference between Core Socks and the EasyOff™ range?

Core Socks give you the same warm, flexible 3mm limestone neoprene upper as the EasyOff™ range, with a simple wrap around velcro fastening and a 5mm neoprene sole. They're a straightforward option if you don't need the Kevlar® reinforced sole and wider opening that come with the EasyOff™ range.

What thickness swimming socks should I buy?

There's no one thickness that's right for everyone. As a guide, go for 2 to 3mm for spring, summer and early autumn, 3 to 5mm for autumn and winter, and 5mm or more if you're a dedicated winter or ice swimmer. Your own experience and how quickly you feel the cold matter just as much as the calendar. All our products use Limestone neoprene which is warmer than normal neoprene so you don’t need a thicker sock which can add unwanted buoyancy to your feet while swimming.

What size swimming socks should I get?

Core Socks come in Small (UK 3 to 5), Medium (UK 6 to 7) and Large (UK 8 to 9). If you're between sizes, we'd recommend sizing up and using the adjustable fastening to get a snug, comfortable fit.

Can you actually swim wearing neoprene socks?

Yes. They're specifically designed for open water swimming. The key is finding a pair that fits properly and doesn't restrict your movement, rather than one that's just been sized up for comfort on land.

Can you wear swimming socks in winter?

Absolutely. In fact, colder water is when many swimmers appreciate them most. They're not a substitute for understanding cold water risk, but they form a useful part of a wider winter swimming setup alongside the right swimwear, gloves and hat.

Will Core Socks keep my feet warm in cold water?

Yes. The 3mm limestone neoprene provides insulation around your feet, and double sealed seams help keep that warmth in and colder water out.
